I woke up one morning and could not hear anything in my right ear. I was advised to see Dr. Robert Peters who recommended a Cochlear Implant; I went through this procedure and could hear much better, although I would later have to have a Cochlear Implant in the left ear; That\u2019s is when the miracle happened! I could hear more than I can ever remember hearing. I can hear the birds sing, the dogs barking, rain, wind in the trees. I needed this to happen for me. While I was going through this I lost my eyesight to Macular Degeneration. Now I can hear the traffic noises and the tapping of the cane tells me where I am going. I can talk to and understand people.
