HEAR TO LEAD, a youth leadership program originally founded in 2017 as the DHF Teen Squad, has grown into a dynamic youth leadership program empowering students with hearing loss from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.
Through monthly meetings, community activities, leadership opportunities, and peer connection, participants build confidence, friendships, advocacy skills, and a strong sense of belonging. Students travel from all over DFW to take part in this supportive community designed to encourage leadership, independence, and lifelong connections.
We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to be heard, lead, and thrive.
