Sophie Gilmore

Sophie Gilmore was born and raised in Dallas and then attended The University of Texas at Austin. She started her career in the marketing services division of News Corporation, News America Marketing, where she coordinated in-store, home-delivered, and online advertising and promotional campaigns for a portfolio consisting of over 80 accounts. 

Sophie then transitioned into corporate event planning at GLG. In this role, Sophie conceptualized, planned, and executed an average of 225 corporate events per year. She planned these events for clients in the financial services industry to gain knowledge on breaking news, industry trends, and sector-specific developments.

Sophie made her final career transition and started working in residential real estate at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty in May of 2016. While Sophie still holds her license, her main role is now that of Mom! She has two young boys, Gray and Charlie. Charlie was born six weeks early, leading to many complications and eventually sepsis. After being given both gentamicin and vancomycin to fight the infection, Charlie failed his first hearing test, and his hearing journey started. Once he received his cochlear implants, Charlie’s world opened up and he really began to take off! Sophie has been with Charlie every step of the way and has an immense desire to help others through this intense and life changing process!
