Now, a year later she hears the phone ring and the birds sing. Elisabeth says many words and the names of her family. She says short sentences like “take a bath”.

She received a cochlear implant this summer and after just 3 months of hearing, Meghana’s progress is amazing. Now she is trying to talk in sentences, understands almost everything we say and can write her name.
She is now speaking in some three and four word sentences and is learning to read and write. We are thrilled with her progress and thanks to Dr. Peters and Linda Daniel we have a completely new vision for Jenna’s future.

Our lives have changed in so many positive ways now that she can hear and is learning to talk. We are so blessed with everyone that has helped us.
